Why Me?

• Raised in a strict academic Chinese-American family in a non-Asian neighborhood

• Despite being short, I played varsity Basketball and Football, while earning an academic scholarship to the University of Washington

• Grew up in a Chinese church—saw every path Asian men take: from shy nerds to street hustlers

• My whole journey has led up to this, I've been pushing against negative Asian stereotypes my entire life.

• I’ve lived the struggle, earned the insight, and now I'm on a journey to help others who need it
